Happy Friday guys!
Just a quick blog post this morning with some random things that are happening in my world.
First on the list, Saturday morning bootcamp. Bob and I host a bootcamp every Saturday morning in Rockfield Manor Park off of Ewing St in Bel Air, MD. Class time starts at 7:30am. We are having such a good time coaching this fun, interactive and challenging bootcamp class! The community of participants are so welcoming to others and encouraging of each other that it makes me happy to be part of this outdoor fitness program. You are more than welcome to come check it out. First class is free, after that it’s only $10 a class.
If you’re not following the Just Me Jenn B FB page, you might want to reconsider. Every week I post three different topics: Mobility Monday – Where I cover one or two movements that you can practice at home to improve your mobility. Wake Up Wednesday – Where I talk about different ways to show up to the world fully “awake” and present. Subjects vary from stress management, meditation practices, and just random thoughts and interesting subjects that are thought provoking and get us questioning what it is we are doing in this life of ours. Last but not least, Feature Friday – On Friday’s I share a book I have read, recipe I found, podcast I have listened to, or just different things that I wanted to share with you because I think they are cool or helpful. Today’s Feature Friday is an exercise tip that challenges your core and stablilty by using the TRX. Don’t have a TRX? No worries, I show similar modified movements that are just as challenging on the Fitness Ball. (you know that big ball you have laying around in your home office or basement that you thought you would use more often but don’t?) Yes, that ball, dust it off and put it to some use.
